Our environmental system is now certified according to the ISO 14001 system! Achieving the certificate is a big step in our goal towards carbon-neutral production.
The main principles of Auraprint Oy’s environmental policy are environmental responsibility, energy efficiency and the promotion of sustainable production principles. We also require environmental responsibility from our suppliers. Our goal is to constantly improve energy and material efficiency and make manufacturing processes more efficient.
Our important environmental goal is to reduce energy consumption. Measures to achieve this goal include e.g. increasing the use of solar energy from our own solar power plant, investments in new, energy-efficient printing technology and the replacement of lighting with LED technology. Our goal has also been to determine the carbon footprint for production in general and for individual product groups. We have achieved this goal with the audited Climatecalc calculator.
Our operations have also been evaluated in accordance with the international EcoVadis system that evaluates corporate responsibility and environmental issues. We can proudly state that we have achieved a silver level rating in the EcoVadis responsibility assessment!
